d stands for diversity
Our program for more equity, inclusion and diversity
Together for respect and diversity
At dc, diversity is not a buzzword - it is a core part of our culture. We stand for respectful collaboration, equal opportunities and a work environment where different perspectives are welcome and make us stronger together.
Inclusion
For us, inclusion means removing barriers and enabling participation. We support colleagues from other countries as they settle in, encourage multilingualism across the team and offer flexible work models such as part-time roles or individual working hours. We are also continuously improving accessibility in our office and across our digital offerings.
Equal opportunity
At dc, equal opportunity means performance matters - not background, gender, age or lifestyle. We focus on fair pay, transparent growth opportunities and equal chances across all roles. At the same time, we create targeted momentum to better support underrepresented groups, such as women in tech roles.
Diversity
For us, diversity is a real success factor. At dc, developers, designers, consultants and marketing teams work closely together. Different ways of thinking, experiences and cultural backgrounds are explicitly welcome. We encourage open exchange, take a clear stand against discrimination and foster respectful collaboration.
We are part of Charta der Vielfalt
We actively foster an inclusive and diverse work environment. By joining Charta der Vielfalt, we make a clear commitment to diversity - we do not just acknowledge it, we actively promote it, live it in our daily work and make it visible. Since 2006, the initiative has stood for a working world centered on appreciation, openness and equal opportunity.
Our actions for more diversity
Diversity does not happen through statements of intent alone. That is why at dc, we put concrete actions in place and keep developing them every year. From trainings and partnerships to visible signs in everyday work and long-term goals in our roadmap. Not perfect, but with a clear mindset and the ambition to keep learning and getting better as a team.
Code knows no gender
At dc, around 125 employees from more than 20 countries work together. We think internationally, bring together different perspectives and are intentionally working to build a more diverse team. Let’s be honest: our share of women is still too low, and we still have far too few female developers on the team - but we are here to change that.
