Holacracy Approach
dc AG's New Work concept
The 12 elements of our
Holacracy Approach
Free choice of where you work, transparent salaries, voting for every leadership role, and unlimited vacation - these are just some of the elements of the New Work concept we've developed over the past few years.
At dc AG, there are no rigid time clocks or fixed core hours. Team members shape their workday in the way that best fits their personal biorhythm and private life. Coordination happens within the team, with full ownership.
Whether it's at our modern headquarters in Kulmbach, remotely from home, or on a workation abroad - where you work is entirely up to you. Thanks to a fully digitalized infrastructure, seamless collaboration is possible from anywhere.
Trust instead of control obsession: there is no fixed cap on vacation days per year. Team members coordinate autonomously within their circles. As long as responsibilities are covered and the team agrees, you can take as much vacation as you need.
You won't find classic top-down structures here. Decisions are made where the greatest expertise sits - directly within the team. Removing bureaucratic layers creates short communication paths and fast execution.
Knowledge isn't something you have to chase down, and it's not a power tool. Strategic goals, business KPIs, and the company's overall direction are fully transparent and accessible to every team member at any time, enabling well-founded decisions.
Agility isn't just a buzzword - it's deeply embedded in how we work every day. Through iterative processes, continuous feedback, and flexible adaptation to market changes, dc AG stays in a constant state of learning and remains highly responsive.
dc AG takes responsibility for the future. Our sustainability concept runs through the entire organization - from resource-efficient processes in the office to the deliberate selection of partners and projects that make a positive impact.
The mental and physical health of our teams is a priority. Preventive programs, ergonomic workspaces, support for sports, and room for mental breaks ensure that performance and personal well-being go hand in hand.
Lifelong learning is actively encouraged. Instead of standardized mandatory training, every team member gets the freedom and budget to grow in their own way - whether through industry conferences, certifications, or developing entirely new role capabilities.
Success is created together and shared together. With a clear, transparent profit-sharing model, all team members directly participate in the company's financial success. That strengthens the sense of togetherness and entrepreneurial thinking.
A radically democratic approach: roles with leadership and steering responsibility (such as Lead Links or the Executive Board) are not appointed from the top, but elected democratically by the respective circle. This ensures maximum legitimacy and true peer-level collaboration.
No more salary envy or backroom negotiation tactics. A fair salary model that everyone can see creates full transparency. Compensation is based on clearly defined roles, skills, and responsibilities.
Every year, we donate at least 5% of our company profits to nonprofit associations and organizations.
