Which version of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central do I need?

dynamic commerce works with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. We’re always compatible with the latest cloud version of Business Central and also support on-premise versions and older Microsoft Dynamics NAV versions up to 2013.

Do I need an agency for web design?

We’re happy to handle the custom design of your webshop or portal with our designers and frontend developers. We can adapt our best-practice layout template to your corporate design or create a fully custom web design. If you have an in-house design team or already work with an agency, we’ll gladly include them in the project.

How fast can my project go live?

Once you give the go, we can usually start your project within a few weeks. Go-live is possible after about 8 to 12 weeks, depending on scope. Plan for 2 to 4 months for your e-commerce project overall. If you need major customizations or use an older on-premise version of Business Central, it might take a bit longer.

What’s my ERP partner’s role in the project?

We make it a priority to involve your ERP partner in the project. Many ERP systems providers already know us and dynamic commerce from previous projects. In any case, we coordinate closely with your Business Central team. Any customizations in the ERP system and the app installation should be planned together. But your ERP partner doesn’t need to configure or develop anything for you to use dynamic commerce.

How much does a dynamic commerce project cost?

dynamic commerce is a software-as-a-service solution. You pay a monthly fee for the software, which includes web hosting, maintenance, and support. Is dynamic commerce an interface or a standalone webshop software?

dynamic commerce is a standalone e-commerce platform based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. It’s a dc-developed extension for the ERP system and a webshop software for the web. Since dynamic commerce is seamlessly integrated into Business Central’s business logic, we don’t call it a classic interface.

What’s the difference compared to webshop solutions like Shopify, Shopware, or Magento?

dynamic commerce was built specifically for the ERP system Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. This means e-commerce and ERP processes are deeply connected - for example, with pricing logic, currencies, and taxes. At the same time, dynamic commerce adds e-commerce features to Business Central like voucher management, campaign management, and online payment.

Our goal is to match solutions like Shopify, Shopware, or Magento in features, but with much deeper integration into Business Central processes.
