Update: Executive & Supervisory Board

Starting 2026, dc is making some changes to the Executive and Supervisory Board. Since our transformation into an AG in 2021, we’ve focused on a clear structure with both boards. At the same time, our approach stays the same: lots of responsibility within the team, flat hierarchies, and short decision paths.

Our team of around 120 people works independently – but the overall responsibility sits with the Executive Board. We intentionally keep our board a bit larger so each area can be managed independently, while all board members stay close to day-to-day business.

New faces on the Executive Board

After 15 years, Christoph Werner is leaving dc and handing over his CFO role to Michael Zettl, who will now lead both Business Applications and Finance. Christoph has been a key part of dc’s journey for many years – thank you for everything.

• Marcel Fischer - Head of Marketing

Supervisory Board update

After several years as chair, Andreas Puls is stepping down. Christina Völkl-Wolf will take over as chair. Dr. Christoph Senft is also joining the Supervisory Board.

The Supervisory Board now consists of:

• Prof. Dr. Christina Völkl-Wolf - Professor
• Sabine Heukrodt-Bauer - Attorney, IT and business law expert
• Dr. Christoph Senft - Financial advisor, business development specialist

With this team, we’re ready for the next steps and will keep moving dc forward – with clear responsibilities, lots of autonomy, and a focus on sustainable growth. We’re excited for what’s ahead 🚀
