City Cycling 2024
The dc team was busy racking up bike miles during Kulmbach’s City Cycling event.
From 07/01 to 07/21/2024, City Cycling took place in Kulmbach. City Cycling is an initiative by the Climate Alliance network. The goal: as a group or solo, cover as many miles as possible by bike within a set timeframe to reduce both individual and community CO₂ emissions. All rides were tracked with the City Cycling app.
Even with some remote team members and our rural location, many colleagues chose to bike instead of drive during this time. With 27 riders, we got 25% of our team excited about cycling and saved a ton of CO₂ – for the environment, but also to break up the workday or add some fun after hours. In just 21 days, our team logged over 3,000 kilometers on two wheels.
