City Cycling 2024
The dc team put in a strong effort and logged plenty of bike kilometers during Kulmbach's City Cycling event.
From 01.07. to 21.07.2024, the City Cycling event took place in Kulmbach. City Cycling is an initiative by the Klima-Bündnis network. The goal is for groups or individuals to cover as many kilometers as possible by bike within a set period in order to reduce individual and municipal COâ‚‚ emissions. These were tracked using the City Cycling app.
Despite having some remote team members and being based in a more rural area, many colleagues made a conscious choice to ride their bikes instead of driving during this time. With 27 cyclists, we got 25% of our team excited about biking and saved a lot of CO2 in the process - good for the environment, but also a great way to mix up the workday or unwind after work. In 21 days, the team logged more than 3,000 kilometers by bike.
