Old Town Company Run 2026
26 teams, 130 runners, and tons of team spirit: The Old Town Company Run 2026 once again brought companies from the region together at the start line during the Kulmbach Old Town Festival.
On 5. Juli 2026, Kulmbach's Old Town once again turned into the racecourse for the Old Town Company Run. 26 relay teams with a total of 130 runners took part and, together with countless spectators, created an amazing atmosphere on the market square.
Each team completed the relay over a total of five kilometers - split across five runners covering one kilometer each. After exciting preliminary heats, the fastest teams qualified for the big final, where they sprinted for the podium spots.
In the end, the winners were clear:
🏆 1st place: EXCAPE - with 5 vouchers for the Beast at the Spartan Race 2027 in Kulmbach
🥈 2nd place: Kulmbacher Brauerei - with 5 vouchers for the Super at the Spartan Race 2027 in Kulmbach
🥉 3rd place: KuGym CrossFit Kulmbach Team 1 - with 5 vouchers for the Sprint at the Spartan Race 2027 in Kulmbach
Alongside the athletic achievements, creativity was rewarded once again: Sparkasse Kulmbach-Kronach won the special prize - a 100,-€ JAKO voucher - for the best outfit, impressing everyone with their original team look inspired by the Beagle Boys.
Also taking part were Sonnen Apotheke, Sonnenstern Apotheke, IREKS, RAPS, Stadtwerke Kulmbach, Fit'n Fun, Steuerkanzlei Rückert & Zech, flatexDEGIRO, AGO GmbH, Klinikum Kulmbach, novaconcept Schorsch, and many more companies from the region.
A big thank-you goes to all runners, spectators, helpers, and the City of Kulmbach, who made the Old Town Company Run 2026 possible.
