hike, wine & dine 2024
This year, the dc team went to Würzburg for our company outing. After a short hike through the vineyards, we enjoyed a wine tasting and a hearty snack.
Our company outing this year was all about movement, enjoyment, and team spirit in the vineyards around Würzburg 🍇🚶♀️
Under the motto “hike, wine & dine”, over 100 dc colleagues set out on September 4, 2024, to explore the Franconian vineyards. We kicked things off in downtown Würzburg, each with a stylish care bag packed with snacks and our first glass of wine 🍷
The 10-kilometer tour offered not only stunning views over Würzburg but also some sporty challenges – up and down the hills, always with our destination in sight: the Weingut am Stein. Once we arrived, we got a warm welcome and dove into an exclusive wine tasting, where we got to experience the famous Silvaner in all its flavors and learn more about winemaking.
We wrapped up the day with a delicious snack and sunset views over Würzburg. On the bus ride home, some of us looked pretty tired – was it the hike or the wine? 😁
