hike, wine & dine 2024
This year, the dc team headed to Würzburg for our company outing. After a short hike through the vineyards, a wine tasting and a traditional snack spread were waiting for us.
This year, our company outing was a day full of movement, great food and team spirit in the vineyards around Würzburg 🍇🚶♀️
Under the motto „hike, wine & dine“, more than 100 dc colleagues set out on September 4, 2024 to explore the Franconian vineyards. The starting point was downtown Würzburg, equipped with stylish care bags including snacks and the first glass of wine 🍷
The 10-kilometer tour offered not only amazing views over Würzburg, but also a real physical challenge - uphill, downhill and always with the destination in sight: Weingut am Stein. Once we arrived, we received a warm welcome and dove deep into the world of winemaking during an exclusive wine tasting, where we got to experience the famous Silvaner in all its facets.
The day wrapped up with a delicious traditional snack spread while watching the sunset over Würzburg. On the bus ride home, a few colleagues looked pretty tired - whether it was from the hike or the wine is still up for debate 😁
