City Cycling 2024
The dc team diligently collected cycling kilometers at the Kulmbach City Cycling event.
From 01.07. to 21.07.2024, City Cycling took place in Kulmbach. City Cycling is an initiative of the Climate Alliance network. The goal is to cover as many kilometers as possible by bike as a group or individual within a certain period to reduce individual and municipal CO₂ emissions. These were tracked with the City Cycling app.
Despite some remote employees and the rural location, many colleagues consciously chose the bicycle over the car during this time. With 27 cyclists, we inspired 25% of our team to ride bikes, saving a lot of CO2 – for the environment, but also to bring some variety to the workday or after work. In 21 days, the team was able to collect over 3000 cycled kilometers.
