hike, wine & dine 2024
For this year's company outing, the dc team went to Würzburg. After a short hike through the vineyards, we enjoyed a wine tasting and a hearty snack.
This year, our company outing was a day full of activity, enjoyment, and team spirit in the vineyards around Würzburg 🍇🚶♀️
Under the motto “hike, wine & dine”, over 100 colleagues from dc set out on September 4, 2024 to explore the Franconian vineyards. The starting point was downtown Würzburg, equipped with stylish care bags including snacks and the first glass of wine 🍷
The 10-kilometer tour not only offered a breathtaking view over Würzburg, but also some athletic challenges – up and down the hills, always with the goal in sight: the Weingut am Stein. Once there, we received a warm welcome and immersed ourselves in the world of winemaking during an exclusive wine tasting, where we got to experience the famous Silvaner in all its facets.
The day ended with a delicious snack while watching the sunset over Würzburg. On the bus ride home, some colleagues seemed pretty tired – was it the hike or the wine? 😁
