Our Plogging Day 2024
We went plogging again in 2024. In this article, you’ll find out what we did on our Plogging Day and why we do it every year.
On May 23, our fourth Plogging Day took place. Our employees met at both locations, Kulmbach and Marktredwitz, and collected trash together as part of our sustainability concept.
All participants were provided with trash bags, grabbers, gloves, and a care package with snacks and drinks at our two offices. Then everyone started on their different routes. This year, many trash bags were filled and then properly disposed of on Plogging Day.
Many thanks to all employees and volunteers for their diligent collecting!

What is Plogging?
Plogging is a combination of the Swedish word "plocka" (to pick up) and "jogging." In 2016, Swede Erik Ahlström coined the term and the sport behind it, where you pick up trash while jogging. But if you’re not a fan of jogging, you can of course just go for a walk and still do something good for the environment. Why does dc have a Plogging Day?
Sustainability is very important to us. That’s why, under the motto "green beyond the logo," we developed a comprehensive sustainability concept, which also includes an annual Plogging Day. You can find more information about it here. How did Plogging Day 2024 go at dc?
