Get active and make a real impact: At the dc Plogging Day on 21.04.2026, our crew was out collecting trash from Kulmbach to Croatia. A strong sign for sustainability - fully aligned with green beyond the logo.

On 21.04.2026, it was that time again for us: get outside, get active and do some good along the way. At the dc Plogging Day, the dc team was out and about in Kulmbach, spread across remote locations and this year even in Croatia. As part of our sustainability concept **"green beyond the logo"**, our colleagues picked up what doesn’t belong in nature. Simple, hands-on and easy to join - every step counts when it comes to our environment. ### What is plogging all about?

The term combines the Swedish word „plocka“ (to pick up) with jogging. The idea: combine exercise with environmental action - just head outside and collect trash. The trend started in Sweden in 2016 and has since spread around the world. ### What the Plogging Day looked like at dc:

- Planned routes around our Kulmbach location
- Remote participation from anywhere - this time even internationally thanks to a workation in Croatia
- Out in small groups or individually on personal routes
- Equipped with trash grabbers, gloves, garbage bags & snacks
- The result: lots of full bags and a few unexpected finds

**Our takeaway:** It’s always surprising to see what ends up in nature - and at the same time motivating to see how much we can change together 🤝 ### Want to make an impact too?

Organize your own Plogging Day - with your team, at your company or simply on your own. Feel free to share your commitment using **\#ploggingday** and **\#greenbeyondthelogo** 📸💚 You can find more about our sustainability concept [here](https://www.dc.ag/en/wearedc/sustainability).
