City Cycling 2026: 26 colleagues from the dc team rode 4,378 kilometres, saved 718 kg of CO₂ and finished 19th in their municipality.

The dc team joined City Cycling again in 2026 - with 26 riders, 4,378 kilometers, and 718 kg of avoided CO₂. A result we’re proud of.

This year, the dc team once again took part in Kulmbach City Cycling - a nationwide campaign by Klima-Bündnis in which municipalities collect as many bike kilometers as possible to make a shared statement for climate action. 🌍

 City Cycling ran from 28.06. to 18.07.2026, and our results speak for themselves: - 4,378 kilometers covered together
- 26 colleagues actively took part
- 338 rides were logged
- 718 kg of CO₂ were saved
- Ranked 19th in our municipality

 Whether commuting to the office, heading out for an after-work ride, or cycling on the weekend - lots of colleagues consciously chose the bike. Especially in a rural region, every year shows again that even short trips can make a difference. City Cycling brings together movement, climate action, and team spirit in a simple and motivating way 💚

 A big thank-you to everyone who joined in and logged kilometers. We’re already looking forward to City Cycling 2027 - because every kilometer counts 🚲🌱
