This year’s dc company outing took us by canoe along the Wiesent through Franconian Switzerland. We wrapped up the day with a relaxed BBQ together.

 This year’s company outing took us canoeing through Franconian Switzerland. We wrapped up the day with a relaxed BBQ together.

This year, our company outing took us right into the heart of Franconian Switzerland. Instead of desks, Teams calls, and to-do lists, it was time for the dc team to grab a paddle, hop in a canoe, and explore the Wiesent together.

 On 9. September 2026, our colleagues from Kulmbach, Marktredwitz, and the surrounding region headed out together to Franconian Switzerland. Once there, the team split into two different tours: while the roughly 1.5-hour tour was a more relaxed trip along the Wiesent followed by a walk through nature, the participants on the "wild" tour spent around 4.5 hours in the canoe. 🚣‍♀️💦

 It took teamwork and good coordination to keep things moving smoothly. Of course, there was still plenty of time along the way to enjoy the landscape of Franconian Switzerland.

 After several kilometers on the water, everyone came back together. At the Wiesent-Garten, we wrapped up our company outing with a relaxed BBQ. 🍔🥗

 A really great day with lots of nature, movement, team spirit, and plenty of fun - and for some colleagues, probably a bit of sore muscles the next morning too. 😉
