We offer apprenticeships in a range of digital fields, including IT, E-commerce, marketing, creation, and related career paths. Will I work on real projects as an apprentice? Absolutely! From day 1, you'll work with your team on real projects. That includes, for example, our dc Brandshop, which is managed entirely by our apprentices. Will I be supported during my apprenticeship? Definitely. In addition to your team, you'll have a dedicated trainer as well as someone from our People & Culture team as your sparring partner. Apprentices from higher years will support you too. Will I have growth opportunities as an apprentice? Many of our colleagues started out as apprentices themselves and grew their careers internally. As an apprentice, you'll also be fully included in all of our training and learning formats. Can I work remotely during my apprenticeship? Partly - mobile working is possible starting in your 2nd year of apprenticeship, and in your 3rd year, additional flexibility (such as unlimited vacation) may be possible. How important are grades in the application process? Grades aren't everything. Motivation, interest, and any relevant prior experience - for example through internships or hobby projects - are much more exciting to us! What does my start at dc look like? With a structured and relaxed onboarding experience. You'll have time to settle in, learn, and find your footing. We also celebrate the start of the apprenticeship in your first week with a group barbecue. How do I apply for an apprenticeship at dc? Super easy online - choose the apprenticeship that fits you and apply digitally through our careers page. When does the apprenticeship start? The regular apprenticeship start date is 01.09. of each year, but under certain conditions, a start on 01.03. is also possible. What benefits do apprentices get at dc? Almost all of our employee benefits also apply to apprentices, including things like continuing education and training, lots of events, and your own technical equipment. On top of that, we subsidize travel costs for our apprentices and offer shared team events. Are there opportunities to stay on after the apprenticeship? We always train with the goal of hiring our apprentices afterward too - as long as the collaboration is strong and the professional fit is right. What can I expect in the application process? In one digital and one in-person introductory meeting, we want to find out whether we're a good fit professionally and personally.
